The adventure culminates with three days of sun-drenched beach bliss and water sports in Bentota, wrapping up in the vibrant, bustling streets of the capital, Colombo.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Colombo - Transfer to Negombo

  • Arrive in Colombo and transfer to Negombo (approx. 20-30 minutes’ drive).
  • Relax and unwind by the beach or explore the local Negombo town and fishing village.
  • Overnight: Negombo.

Day 2-3: Kandy

  • Travel to Kandy (approx. 3-4 hours’ drive).
  • Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, explore the serene Kandy Lake, and attend a traditional cultural dance performance.
  • Visit the lush, sprawling Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya.
  • Overnight: Kandy.

Day 4-5: Nuwara Eliya

  • Travel to Nuwara Eliya (approx. 2-3 hours’ drive), affectionately known as “Little England.”
  • Visit a working tea plantation and factory to learn about world-famous Ceylon tea production.
  • Explore Gregory Lake, Victoria Park, and enjoy the cool climate and scenic highland landscapes.
  • Overnight: Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6-7: Ella

  • Travel to Ella (approx. 2-3 hours’ drive).
  • Hike to Ella Rock or Little Adam’s Peak for stunning, panoramic views of the valley.
  • Visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge and enjoy the laid-back, backpacker atmosphere of this charming village.
  • Overnight: Ella.

Day 8-9: Yala National Park

Day 10-11-12: Bentota
