Itinerary

Day 1-2: Colombo

  • Arrival in Colombo, transfer to your hotel.
  • Explore Colombo’s cultural and historical sites, such as the Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, and the National Museum. Enjoy a stroll along Galle Face Green in the evening.

Day 3-4: Jaffna

  • Travel to Jaffna in the northern part of Sri Lanka.
  • Explore Jaffna’s cultural and religious sites, including the Jaffna Fort, Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil, and the Jaffna Public Library. Enjoy local Jaffna cuisine, known for its unique flavors.

Day 5-6: Anuradhapura

  • Visit Mihintale, the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka, with its ancient monastic complex.
  • Continue to Polonnaruwa, another UNESCO World Heritage site, to explore the well-preserved ruins of this medieval capital.

Day 7-8: Trincomalee

Day 9: Mihintale and Polonnaruwa
